IŽA Wins Case at EU General Court Against EC, Which Rejected Complaint Regarding LRT Financing Model - Verslo žInios

The Internet Media Association (IŽA) has won a case at the General Court of the European Union (EU) against the European Commission (EC) regarding the compatibility of the LRT funding model with state aid rules. The court's ruling means that the EC will be obliged to launch a formal investigation into the legality of the LRT funding model changed in 2015 and 2020, which more than doubled the state funding allocated to LRT.
