Abidjan has mobilized $80 billion in international public commitments for its 2030 National Development Plan, a plebiscite of donors that confirms the country's growth path.

Côte d'Ivoire has secured international public investment four times as high as hoped to finance its National Development Plan (NDP) by 2030, announced the Minister of the Plan to the press on Thursday. The country thus confirms its economic attractiveness, with one of the region's most robust growth - 6.5% average in recent years - and stability recovered after a decade of politico-military crisis in the early 2000s.

While the government was looking for $20 billion, partners pledged $80 billion on the first day of the Advisory Group. These commitments already cover nearly 42 per cent of the total cost of NDP 2026-2030, estimated at CFAF 114,840 billion.
