The modernization of the Ivorian maritime industry is taking a new major step. The authorities of the Carena have made official presentation of a floating dock of the latest generation, with a capacity of 12,000 tons. This strategic equipment, acquired by the Carena for a cost of 12.5 billion CFA francs, consolidates the position of the autonomous port of Abidjan as an essential maritime hub in West Africa.
Carena, subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics (AGL) and SOFIA, has proceeded this 3 November 2025 to the official presentation of its new floating dock with a capacity of 12,000 tons in Abidjan.
