Sullivan BOE bans student cell phone use during school day
The Board of Education Wednesday evening voted 6-0 with one absent to change the policy on "wireless communication devices," effective for the 2025-26 school year. The group also amended the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook to reflect the new policy.
The government today approved the ban on the use of cell phones in schools up to the 6th grade and the review of the Citizenship and Development subject, measures that will come into effect from the next school year.
