- Itron, Inc. is showcasing its Grid Edge Intelligence portfolio and new Resiliency Solutions segment at DTECH 2026 in San Diego, Feb. 2-5, 2026, as presenting sponsor with an opening keynote by Tom Deitrich and utility executives on Feb. 2.
- As utilities grapple with rising demand and complexity, they face increased grid complexity and energy demand from electrification and data centers, requiring greater visibility and control at the grid edge.
- Through acquisitions and integrations, Itron added Urbint's Protection Solutions and Locusview's Digital Construction Management to Resiliency Solutions, while collaborating with NVIDIA, Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Gordian Technologies, NET2GRID and Bidgely.
- Itron says its Advanced Grid Reliability solutions target a 10% reduction in outage minutes and 20% capacity increase, while first use cases will be available to utility customers this year.
- The Grid Edge portfolio builds on Itron's proven scale with more than 16 million DI-enabled meters, over 100 million endpoints under management, and 70GWh of flexible load dispatched in 2025.
