What began as a relaxed boat trip on the Amalfi Coast ended with a wave ride. The tour in the south of Italy was actually long since finished. However, heavy waves made the docking in the port of Positano impossible.
The port of Positano, on the Amalfi Coast, in southern Italy, was the scene of moments of tension after a tourist raft was hit by giant waves during an attempt to dock. Images recorded by a British tourist show the boat being thrown at the pier while passengers were screaming and people waiting at the pier needed to run away from the water that invaded the structure. Despite the scare, there was no record of injuries.

Dramatic scenes in Positano: A passenger ship bounces several times against a pier due to strong winds and huge waves. After difficult maneuvers, the overcrowded boat could safely dock. There were no injured.
