Italy Among the Most Sedentary Countries of the Oecd: More than 9 Children Out of 10 (11-15 Years) Do Not Play Sports

With less sedentary, Italian health spending could save up to €77.4 billion by 2050. And, if these resources were in addition re-invested in prevention, national GDP would see an increase, in the same time frame, of 225 billion. These figures emerge from the Observatory Value Sport 2025 of The European House Ambrosetti, in collaboration with the CONI, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the ICSC (Institute for Sport and Cultural Credit).
