Italian judges have dropped a case against PM Giorgia Meloni after she was placed under investigation following her government’s decision to release a Libyan official wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes.
According to the head of government, the court of ministers relieved him of all responsibility in the decision to expel Osama Almasri Najim, head of the Libyan judicial police, who is the subject of an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court.
