Three banks, a lake and a shared cultural vision: Bardolino and the whole of Lake Garda apply for the title "Italian Capital of Culture 2029". More than 160 institutions and organisations support the application, which wants to position Lake Garda beyond the borders of municipalities and regions as a common cultural area. The official application dossier is to be submitted to the Italian Ministry of Culture on 23 September.
