Storms have raged again across Croatian Istria. Four supercell storms have developed over the sea, bringing exceptionally large hail in some places. The largest hailstone fell in Rovinj, where it was measured to be more than 5 centimeters in diameter. Meteorologists are warning of new storms.
Today, along the entire Croatian coast, strong storms with wind and hail are possible, and frequent lightning strikes are also possible. A stronger storm system has formed over the northern Adriatic, which has already approached the southern part of Croatian Istria. Thick hail fell in Rovinj.
