Quebec publisher halts promotion of book in AI controversy amid new allegations
MONTREAL - A Quebec author who earlier this week was accused of using artificial intelligence to write an award-winning novel is now facing a new set of allegations regarding the originality of his previous work.
"This deception is disappointing and inexcusable," said a leader of the Canadian media "La Presse", where the Quebec author is suspected of having published a plagiarized text. At least four other texts are concerned.
