Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has reported that 2,600 drones were intercepted while flying toward the Russian capital. Most of these unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized on the distant approaches to the city, he said. Russian officials announced that 180 of the 620 drones launched towards the Moscow region, and 791 drones across the country, were shot down. In retaliation, the Russian military struck drone launch sites and port infrastructure in Ukraine.
In one week, more than 2,500 Ukrainian drones targeted the Russian capital, Moscow, and the surrounding area, TASS reported.
