PKP Intercity is reinstating its popular Warsaw-Croatia connection this summer. That's not all. The carrier has just announced it's further increasing the number of routes. Traveling by train to the Adriatic for a holiday on the Adriatic Coast will no longer be limited to Rijeka. PKP Intercity will also offer new destinations.
The Adriatic Express from Poland to Rijeka, Croatia, will return in a modified format for the 2026 summer holidays, PKP Intercity announced. The train will run more frequently than before and will also include carriages to the Adriatic city of Koper in Slovenia. Furthermore, the state-owned carrier also plans to extend its service to Trieste in Italy. In this case, the connection will be a combined train and bus service.
