The motion of censure of the Arrival to the Government of PSD/CDS-PP, motivated by the continuity in office of the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, due to the controversies that involve his name while he was director of the Judicial Police, will be discussed by parliament next Tuesday.
Parliament is preparing for tomorrow, which will have Luís Neves as its protagonist, and the government is preparing measures to help the agricultural sector after the increase in the price of fuels.
Motion of no confidence against the Portuguese government confirmed
The Standing Committee unanimously approved today the convocation of a plenary session for 8 September to debate and vote on the Chega party's motion of censure against the Government, which is already guaranteed to be rejected.
Parliament is meeting this Tuesday to discuss and vote on the motion of censure put forward by the Arrive against the Government. The initiative has been unanimously adopted by the Standing Committee, but it should not cause any change in the Executive.
