The Conservative Party decided at its national conference to prepare a cultural canon, while the Norwegian People's Party's Minister of Education, Kari Nessa Nordtun, has announced a clearer focus on Norwegian. The canon will therefore likely become a topic in the cultural and educational debate after the parliamentary election, and the question has also recently been discussed in Morgenbladet's book podcast.
