Since 2020, Dániel Palotai has represented Hungary and the Central and Eastern European group of countries on the 24-member Board of Directors, the highest decision-making body of the International Monetary Fund.
Back in May, the parliament was presented with an amendment to the law on the national bank, one of which stipulates that the MNB can have four vice-governors, instead of the current three.
