Queen's only concert behind the Iron Curtain took place on July 27, 1986, at Budapest's Népstadion. Almost to the day, a bust of the band's former frontman Freddie Mercury was unveiled in the village of Balatonszemes on Saturday.
The Queen singer performed at the Népstadion 40 years ago, so a statue was erected in Balatonszemes in honor of the memorable anniversary and Freddie Mercury.
