ISRO makes first welds for deep sea submersible Matsya
New Delhi: ISRO is developing a deep-sea submersible Matsya-6000, capable of carrying humans up top depths of six km. This type of vehicle is called a bathysphere, which is the most suitable shape for distributing the crushing pressure of the deep sea equally throughout the vehicle.
