Israel's national security minister, ultra-rightist Itamar Ben Gvir, this Thursday expressed his rejection of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and called on the incumbent of the finance portfolio, also ultra-right Bezalel Smotrich, to join forces with him to prevent a "impruding" pact in the midst of the offensive unleashed against the Palestinian enclave following the attacks of October 7, 2023.
