Even after the discussion in the board of aldermen, the Israeli flag will remain hanging at the city hall in Antwerp for the time being. This was reported by Gazet van Antwerpen and confirmed by mayor Koen Kennis (N-VA) to VRT NWS. Yesterday, both opposition party PVDA and coalition partner Vooruit had made sharp comments about the flag, due to the ongoing war violence in the Middle East.
