Israel Orders Destruction of All Litani River Bridges in Lebanon
Israel has destroyed multiple bridges and accelerated home demolitions near the border to disrupt Hezbollah's operations, with over 1,000 killed and more than 1 million displaced, Lebanon's Health Ministry said.
- The Israeli military ordered evacuation south of the Litani River and indicated plans to blow up bridges across the Litani in southern Lebanon.
- Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the operation aims to remove threats and protect northern residents, warning evacuees won't return until safety is guaranteed.
- More than 1,000 people have been killed since March 2, including 118 children and health workers; healthcare workers and hospitals in southern Lebanon and Beirut face closures and attacks, displacing over one million civilians.
