Iran's attacks respond to Israeli bombings this morning over its territory, which have continued in several waves throughout the day to impact military and nuclear installations in the Islamic Republic.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Friday that his country “does not accept any call for restraint” amid Iran’s missile attack on Israel. “We do not accept any call for restraint at this time,” Araqchi told his British counterpart David Lammy, Iranian media including the Tehran Times reported. The top Iranian diplomat maintained that “Iran’s response to Israel’s aggression will be firm and decisive, in accordance with the UN Charter.”
