Israel election poll: Eisenkot bloc continues slump as coalition gains ground
Eisenkot's bloc stands at 50 Knesset seats, down from 52 last week, while the governing coalition rose from 51 to 53, bolstered in part by far-right Ofer Winter's Amcha Yisrael crossing the electoral threshold
According to a poll conducted by Israel's state television KAN, 43 percent of respondents considered Yashar Party leader Gadi Eisenkot the most suitable candidate for prime minister, while 38 percent preferred Benjamin Netanyahu. However, the Netanyahu-led bloc increased its number of seats by two compared to the previous poll, reaching 53. Thirty percent of those surveyed said they had not yet decided who to vote for.
According to the KAN poll, Netanyahu's bloc has risen to 53 seats, while the opposition bloc has fallen to 50. 43% of those surveyed see Eisenkot as the most suitable candidate for prime minister, while Netanyahu's support remains at 38%.
2026 Elections | According to the survey, Otzma Yehudit is strengthening and will receive nine seats compared to eight last week, while Shas, Religious Zionism and Yisrael Beiteinu are weakening and losing one seat each compared to the previous survey
