The Israeli occupying forces continue to consolidate their military presence within the Gaza Strip, despite the passage of almost a year after the ceasefire agreement, by expanding their areas of control, transferring barriers and establishing new military positions and earthen curtains, in indications of the transformation of areas that are supposed to be temporary under the truce into a more entrenched field reality.
On paper, the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas completes a year already in October, but Israeli attacks continue in an increasingly small territory. Israel has been increasing the area under its control in the Gaza Strip, with new military posts and advances beyond the planned withdrawal line, but which has not been respected.
