At a meeting on Wednesday in New York between the Israeli and Moroccan Ministries of Foreign Affairs, under the auspices of the United States, Morocco and the Hebrew State committed themselves "to strengthen (their) relations" through "the elevation of their respective diplomatic missions to the rank of embassies, as well as the appointment of ambassadors".
