Following the accident in which two boats capsized off the coast of Henoko, Nago City, a delegation from the Ishigaki City Council met with Governor Denny Tamaki at the prefectural office on the 20th and handed him a letter of opinion requesting enhanced safety measures for maritime activities and educational trips.
