In the process of creating a terror-free zone in Turkey, a critical move has been made in Iraq, following Syria. Iraqi Prime Minister Zaidi announced that PKK elements in Sinjar will surrender their weapons to the state and that control of the region will pass to the government. Similar to the integration formula in Syria, suitable PKK members will be integrated into the security forces.
