Iran will not reopen the Strait of Ormuz if the war in Lebanon is not ended, reported today the semi-official Tasnim news agency, which quoted a source close to the Iranian negotiating team. The source warned that if Israel's "crimes" continue in Lebanon and the territorial integrity of Lebanon is not guaranteed, Iran will not negotiate on other issues.
The Strait of Hormuz will not be opened until the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon is respected, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported today, citing a source close to Iran's negotiating team, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRCG) also claims this.
