A new meeting between Iran and the United States on Tehran's nuclear programme will take place this week, the two countries announced as US President Donald Trump hardened the tone towards Iran by saying that there was no question that Iran would continue its uranium enrichment programme, shaking again the threat of military action.
Washington has transmitted a draft agreement to Tehran and expects to receive a response in the coming days. The Iranian government estimated last week that it contained "many ambiguities" and must present its own proposal.
