AMES — Hawkeyes got the best of the Cyclones in the second game of the Cy-Hawk series, 7-2. The Iowa softball team secured a rematch win in the annual Cy-Hawk series with a 7-2 victory over Iowa State in Ames on Tuesday afternoon. Iowa State entered the contest ranked 40th in Division I in batting average and 24th in runs per game, but was held to seven hits over 27 at-bats.
