RCMP investigating shots fired in Grand Falls

The RCMP are investigating what they believe was a "targeted incident of shots fired" near Sulva Road in Grand Falls-Windsor. An update at 10:20 p.m. lifted an emergency alert.

Active shooter alert issued in town of Grand Falls-Windsor, Canada; residents requested to shelter-in-place, no word on casualties. Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP are still actively investigating what is believed to a targeted incident of shots fired. An increased police presence remains in the area. Residents are no longer required to shelter in place and asked to call police with reports of suspicious activities.
