The Weko has agreed with the credit card giant Visa on lower interchange fees for Visa cards. In future, an average interchange fee of up to 0.15 percent will be charged at physical points of sale in Switzerland.

The Competition Commission significantly reduces the interchange fees for visa payments in Switzerland. For the first time, cross-border fees are also reduced.
