Unions of the former Agency for Social Inclusion, which helped municipalities in socially excluded areas, went on a one-day strike on Monday. They were protesting against an April reorganization at the Ministry for Regional Development, which merged the agency with the housing department, resulting in some job losses.
The Agency for Social Inclusion has declared a strike for the public service and against reorganizations in the state administration. The strike was supported by trade unionists from the Government Office, the Ministry for Regional Development, the National Museum, and the Media union.
Workers of the Agency for Social Inclusion began a one-day strike on Monday at 9:00 a.m. for public service and against sudden reorganizations in state administration. 39 people joined the strike, and another fifteen support it, said union leader Václav Nikl.
