- Ford executives say the headquarters was built to boost collaboration and end remote-era silos, supporting the Ford+ plan under CEO Jim Farley as many salaried employees returned to offices earlier this year.
- A massive Product Showroom inside the HQ features ten turntables and a 64-foot LED screen, while six enclosed courtyards, including the 30,000-square-foot Great Lakes Courtyard, support design work.
- Employees will encounter fewer private offices and more shared neighborhoods, as Ford discourages domain staking and expects many salaried staff in offices at least four days a week by end-of-move target: 2027.
- As the campus cornerstone, the HQ anchors the Henry Ford II World Center with a test track and 18-acre Horsepower Park, part of a $1 billion campus transformation including Michigan Central Station's $950 million restoration.
