The investigation is continuing into the cause of a house fire in Belleville on Monday. Firefighters and Hastings Quinte Paramedics responded to a fire in the 100 block of Gordon Street at 12:13 pm. A quick response helped limit the damage to one room with some smoke damage also reported on the second floor of the building.
