City and firefighters local reach tentative deal

The City of Belleville has reached a tentative agreement with it’s fire fighters. The current collective agreement with the Belleville Professional Firefighters Association Local 497 expired December 31, 2024. Details of the deal will be released following ratification by both parties which is expected in late August.
