Ingrid crossed from life on earth into God's presence on December 28, 2025, at the age of 81. In 1948, she immigrated to Leduc, Alberta, from Germany with her mother and three older siblings under the sponsorship of her mother's brother. After graduating from Grade 12 in Leduc, she worked as a secretary for the provincial government in Edmonton and Calgary, and in later years for the Millwoods Shepherd's Care nursing home.
