Two-time Olympic champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen has confirmed he’ll compete in the 5,000 meters at the European championships next month.
Norwegian running star Jakob Ingebrigtsen is opting out of the 1,500 meters during the European Championships in Birmingham in August. The 26-year-old is choosing to only run 5,000 meters in his comeback from injury.
Norwegian rider Jakob Ingebrigtsen, who holds several half-floor world records, had been operated on the Achilles tendon in February. He will be at the start of the Birmingham European Championships (10-16 August).
