Minister of Finance Markus Marterbauer (SPÖ) admits in the ZiB2 that the budget deficit is still too high, yet one can be proud of the current figures. With regard to the increased inflation and possible state intervention, he says: "I would not rule out that we are still intervening there and there, but not financed from the budget.
The low-defficit shows the positive developments of the fun measures, the finance minister explains. Inflation of over "5, 6 or 7 percent" is unlikely.
