The peak of the heat wave is expected today and tomorrow, with maximum temperatures in most of central, southern and eastern Serbia ranging from 38 to 43 °C, with the possibility of locally reaching record values set on July 24, 2007, when 44.9 °C was measured in Smederevska Palanka, the Emergency Situations Sector announced.
Serbia will experience mostly sunny and very warm weather today, with weak and moderate westerly and northwesterly winds and temperatures ranging from 35 to 40 degrees, the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute announced.
