Infarmed points out that the laboratory will collect the nine batches relating to Sertralina toLife 50 and 100 milligrams, since "there has been evidence of above-acceptable contamination".
Drug companies will carry out voluntary collection of affected batches, and it is recommended that patients who do not stop treatment should consult their doctor.
National Medicines Authority has also determined the immediate suspension of the marketing of ten batches of Tenormin medicinal products used in the treatment of hypertension
The authority of the medicinal product shall call on the entities holding these batches in stock so that they do not sell, dispose or administer them, and shall proceed to their return.
