British Doctor Claims IDF Are Deliberately Wounding Children in Gaza ‘Like a Game’
GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE, JUL 16 – Malnutrition among Gaza children rose to 10.7% recently as aid shortages worsen due to an Israeli blockade and customs duties, UN agencies report.
- In Gaza, the UNRWA warned on July 15, 2025, that Gaza’s health system is overwhelmed, and aid is being blocked by the Government of Israel.
- Amid chronic baby formula shortages, Juliette Touma noted rising malnutrition rates and persistent shortages of essential supplies, according to UNRWA.
- On Monday, UNICEF reported that last month over 5,800 children were diagnosed with malnutrition, including over 1,000 severe cases, according to UNICEF.
- A seven-month-old infant, Salam, died from malnutrition on July 9, and her arm measured just 8.3 cm, Haaretz reported.
- Meanwhile, the Jordanian air force plans to resume airdropping aid to Gaza, and immediate nutritional, medical and sanitary assistance is essential under medical ethics and international humanitarian law.
