Industrial space, other renovations to come at Northwest high, middle schools

High school renovations will begin in a year as a part of Northwest Community School’s $21.5 million bond project.

Mayor Muriel Bowser and other DC officials broke ground this afternoon on a $22 million addition at Ward 4’s Barnard Elementary School as her administration highlights further investments in school modernizations in her proposed fiscal year 2026 budget.
