A Cornish mine said to be Europe’s highest grade, undeveloped tungsten resource also contains larger amounts of valuable tin that previously thought, according to the firm planning to re-open it.
The original Redmoor mine was among a number opened in South East Cornwall in the 18th century and continued operating until 1892, when they were forced to close due to low tin prices.
