- On Tuesday, November 4 the BCCI announced the 15-member India A squad, naming India T20I wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma as captain.
 - The Senior Men's Selection Committee prioritized experience, with eight of 15 players aged 25 and only Jitesh Sharma over 30, for the Rising Stars Asia Cup.
 - Selectors included several standout IPL performers, including 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who earned his maiden India A call-up after a 35-ball IPL century and recent youth-Test and ODI scores, plus IPL 2025 breakout Priyansh Arya.
 - India A will face UAE, Pakistan A and Oman in Group B on November 14, 16 and 18, with semi-finals on November 21 at Doha's West End International Cricket Stadium.
 - Sharma arrives in form after an unbeaten 22 in Hobart and a prolific Royal Challengers Bengaluru campaign earlier this year, while the selection offers young domestic and IPL performers a platform at the Rising Stars Asia Cup.
