- Maruti Suzuki Senior Executive Officer Rahul Bharti reported that service data from 1.5 crore vehicles showed no component damage, while experts noted a mileage drop of about 3 to 3.5 per cent.
- The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas issued a detailed rebuttal addressing misinformation, confirming that ethanol distilleries use three to five litres of processed water per litre of ethanol produced.
