Indian-origin professor suspended in California for supporting Gaza, sues university
An Indian-American professor at the University of California, San Francisco, was reportedly suspended and later fired for her social media posts criticising Israel's actions in Gaza. Rupa Marya sued the university, alleging a violation of her free speech rights. Marya, in her court documents, alleged that she received "rape and death threats" for her Gaza posts.
