İYİ Party Istanbul MP Cihan Paçacı did not find the increase in the lowest pension to 23,552 Turkish Lira sufficient. Recalling the pension package proposal he submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Paçacı said, “The announced figure is not enough to protect millions of pensioners against the high cost of living. In our proposal, we suggest that the lowest pension should not fall below the net minimum wage.”
