Forget pinkwashing and greenwashing. Now, instead, the issue of defencewashing is in vogue – an accusation of wanting to water down the rearmament of Europe's defence. Countries that would rather spend their money on climate initiatives have found themselves in the crosshairs.

An Independence Party MP says the Foreign Minister has the party's full support in increasing defense spending. It is surprising that there is no mention of an increase in defense spending in the budget. The issue needs to be resolved before the parliament goes into its Easter recess.
