In visit to Capitol, Jessie Diggins and other Olympians push for climate change solutions
The athlete-led group is pressing bipartisan lawmakers to strengthen the Environmental Protection Agency after rollbacks to climate, air and water protections.
Olympian Jessie Diggins visited Capitol Hill with her four medals to advocate for clean air, clean water, and a healthy planet.
Diggins expressed responsibility to use her voice for change to benefit future generations' ability to enjoy outdoor activities and clean air.
She described bringing her medals to Washington as a meaningful, 'beautiful, full circle moment'.
Diggins emphasized the importance of long-term solutions for environmental protection, noting that clean air and water impact everyone and should not be taken for granted.
